Maroon Bells, one of the most photographed areas in the world and a must-see, is located only 11 miles south from your rental. There you can enjoy hiking, animal-spotting, cross-skiing or snowmobiling (during winter), and take in the dramatic views of Maroon Lake. If you and your group are more advanced skiers, you can always head over to Snowmass (six and a half miles away), which is the largest and most popular ski resort with more than 3,000 acres of ski terrain and 150 miles of intermediate and expert trails. It also features the Treehouse Kids Adventure Center.
