Within a few minutes drive of Alegre, you’ll find golf, shopping, nightlife, and delicious seaside restaurants, in and around South Punta Mita.
There’s no need to show off when you’ve got it all, so Hacienda Alegre lets its natural features do the talking. The incredible Pacific Ocean, sandy beach, lush tropical greenery, mature palms, and sunny Mexican climate decorate Alegre’s entire estate. Terracotta flooring, clay roofing tiles, exposed beam ceilings, and rich wood furniture continue the theme indoors. Add creamy white walls and linens to the equation, and you’ve got a simplistic, yet elegant oasis, sure to melt your stresses away within seconds of arrival.
Each house on the Alegre property features its own kitchen, so it’s easy to break off from the group for private moments, as well as gather together in the Main House for meals. Another great space to dine is on the terrace with the beautiful ocean view as the background for an amazing dinner. Down on the beach, you’ll have access to surfing and kayaking equipment, and a private pergola. On the terrace, there’s table tennis, and a full-size tennis court to keep you busy. After a match, cool off in the refreshing swimming pool, or better yet, head down to the beach.
If you’re visiting Hacienda Alegre in the winter or early spring, you’ll have a great opportunity to see whales and dolphins passing by from your balcony. For a closer look, boat charters, tours, and fishing packages are easy to find along the coast. If there’s a golfer in your group, the Litibu and Flamingo golf clubs are both within a fifteen-minute drive. And, for nightlife, the bustling city of Puerto Vallarta is just twenty-five minutes from home.
